Criteo Retail Media

Prerequisites

• To connect Criteo Retail Media to Fivetran, you need a Criteo Retail Media account.

Step 1: Create an App in the Criteo Partner Portal

1. Log in to your Criteo Partner Portal.
2. Go to the My Apps section and click + (Create App).
3. Enter a Name and Description for your app and click Next.
4. Select the Client Credentials authentication method.
5. Select the service for your API app.
6. Select the permissions for the domains your app will use.
7. Click Activate App.

Step 2: Create Client Credentials

1. Once your app is activated, click Create New Key.
2. A .txt file containing the client_id and client_secret will download to your computer, open it to find the credentials
3. Copy and securely store the following:
   • Client ID
   • Client Secret

You will need these credentials to configure the Fivetran connector.

Step 3: Find Your API Version

1. Locate the version of your Criteo Retail Media API in the official Criteo documentation.
2. Make a note of the API version.

You will need this version number when configuring Fivetran.

Step 4: Give Your API Consent

1. In the same place you created your new APP, there is a button that says "Create new Consent URL"
2. Click the button and a URL will generate just left of that button.
3. Copy the URL, open a new tab and paste in the URL
4. You will be presented with an Access Request. Check the profiles that you want access granted in the "Portfolio access" section towards the bottom
5. Click Approve and give consent approximately a minute for those changes to take effect

Step 5: Complete Fivetran Configuration

1. In the Fivetran connection setup form, enter your:
   • Destination schema name
2. Enter the:
   • Client ID
   • Client Secret
3. Enter the:
   • API Version
4. Hybrid Deployment (If Applicable) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected for the connection. To assign a different agent, click Replace agent, select the agent you want to use, and click Use Agent.

Final Step

Click Save & Test.
